This painting is on display at the Kroller-Muller Museum in the Netherlands. Vincent Van Gogh painted it while staying in Arles in September 1888, before Paul Gauguin arrived. Van Gogh works quickly and a lot in Arles by painting his close environment: the café "l'Alcazar" represented here is in front of his house.
