Mantua's range of period weapon kits all feature quality hardwood, complete with brass, metal and wood fittings. The wood is all laser cut for accurate assembly and the manual is clear and detailed with comprehensive illustrations. The kits are supplied with a wooden display base complete with a brass engraved nameplate. These static models make excellent display pieces.
The revolving mace was invented by Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century. Pulled by a pair of horses, it was used to force a gap in the enemy infantry lines.
